Our Story
OUR STORY
E+E Design Consulting was founded by Principal Interior Designer, Kendra Stewart, in 2021. Growing up in Southern California and based in Denver, Kendra has over 15 years of experience in the design and construction industry. With a background in fashion, event planning, art, photography, graphic design, commercial interior design, hospitality, custom cabinetry and high-end residential interior design. Kendra's keen attention to detail and ability to visualize the spaces holistically, allow her to design successfully while caring about the overall experience from beginning to end.
"It all started when I was working as a Cashier at ZGallerie in Fashion Island, Newport Beach, CA" says Kendra. "A designer walked in, waved her hand in the air and said 'I'll take the whole wall!' Thats when I knew I wanted to be an Interior Designer." Kendra loves to shop, so shopping on behalf of her clients is one of her favorite things to do. It also helps her keep up with all of the latest fashion and design trends. "Some days I will just walk through stores to see what's new, hot and fresh. I enjoy staying in the know." says Kendra. One of Kendra's very first jobs when she was 16 was working on the BP Fashion Board at Nordstrom. Her taste and love for luxury started at a very young age.
Kendra received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Concordia University, Irvine CA in Studio Art and Graphic Design, a Certificate of Interior Design from the Interior Designers Institute of Newport Beach, CA and an Associate's Degree in Interior Design from Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado.

Where did the name E+E Design Consulting come from?
E+E Design Consulting was named after Kendra's two sons, Everett + Ellis, whom she refers to a lot as "E+E".

Lately, we have been particularly enthusiastic about designing home offices. This space is both personal and enjoyable to design, while also being highly functional. As one of the most frequently used areas of the home, it deserves special attention.
